NEED: 1/3 cup butter 1/3 cup packed brown sugar 2 teaspoons fo ground cinnamon 2/3 cup molasses 1 teaspoon of ground ginger 1 egg 2 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt Blend butter, sugar, egg and molasses until smooth. Slowly, stir in all dry ingredients. Mix well and chill for at least one hour. Roll out to 1/4 inch thick and cut into desired shapes. You can also roll into a "log" shape and cut into circles. Oven at 375 degrees. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on wire rack until completely cooled. Decorate as desired. Make approx. 5 dozen cookies. Enjoy! |
