NEED: 1/3 cup butter 2 cups confectioners ( powdered) sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla ** 2 to 4 tablespoons of hot water Heat butter in saucepan until melted. Slowly stir in powdered sugar and vanilla. Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until glaze is of desired consistency. Enough for one angel food cake or 12 cup bundt cake **for lemon or orange glaze -- add 1/2 teaspoon of grated lemon or orange peel to melted butter and substitute lemon or orange juice for the vanilla and water.
