Russian Teacakes

NEED: 1 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup confectioners ( powdered) sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour ( can use whole wheat flour) 1/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 cups of chopped nuts....chopped fine Powdered Sugar Mix butter, 1/2 cup powdered sugar and vanilla. Slowly stir in flour, salt and nuts. Mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls and place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Oven at 400 degrees. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. You want them done but not brown. Roll in powdered sugar while warm. Roll in powdered sugar again when cool. Makes approximately 4 dozen cookies. Enjoy!
