Pecan Crescent Cookies

These are one of my favorite Christmas Cookies..they are easy to make and really dress up a tray of cookies. NEED: 1/2 cup butter-softened 1/4 cup confectioner ( powdered) sugar 1/4 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 teaspoon almond extract 1 1/4 cup flour 3/4 cup chopped pecan Stir butter until soft and smooth, add sugar and flavorings and continue to blend until smooth. Gradually, stir in flour and nuts and stir until well blended. Take one teaspoon of the dough and shape into a crescent. Place on sprayed or greased cookie sheet. Oven at 350 degrees...bake for 20 minutes. While warm roll in powdered sugar and place on rack to cool. Makes approx. 3 1/2 dozen cookies. Enjoy!
